The Town of Great Falls is seeking proposals for engineering services for the David Minors Park Improvements Project. This project will bring long-awaited upgrades to the playground at David Minors Park, benefiting families and children throughout the community.
Project Scope
The selected engineering firm will be responsible for:
- Preparation of plans and specifications
- Contract administration
- Construction observation
- Communication and community engagement
Funding & Administration
This project is funded in part by the South Carolina Department of Commerce through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. It will be administered by the Catawba Regional Council of Governments. Federal requirements will apply to the contract.
Submission Details
All proposals must be received no later than 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 9, 2026. Proposals should be sealed and clearly marked "Proposal for Great Falls Park Project" and mailed or delivered to:

Requirements
- The selected engineer must be registered in the federal System for Award Management (SAM) prior to contract award
- Compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is required
- The Town encourages participation by Section 3 businesses
